2019, Santa Julia Malbec Reserva, Valle de Uco Mendoza, Argentina
Dark violet, with bluish reflections. Nose with typical Malbec aromas, with a fruity profile and fresh red and black fruits such as cherries, plums and blackberries. Medium-bodied, with friendly tannins and balanced acidity. Fruity and spicy finish.
This is really succulent and flavorful, yet linear and fresh at the same time. Medium-to full-bodied, tight and focused. Compact. Fine tannins. Delicious aftertaste. Fantastic for the money.
Looking for a juicy, fruit-driven and fresh personality, the 2019 Reserva Malbec follows the line of the 2018, with fruit from the Valle de Uco and very little oak. But it has some complexity in a very approachable style, with bright fruit and a tender texture.
