Wine Selections Prepared by:

Wine #1: Segura Viudas Cava Brut, Metodo Tradicional, NV, Spain (Sparkling)
Segura Viudas, (pronounced she-GUR-a vi-YOU-das) is one of the most awarded brands in wine and cava tasting, both nationally and internationally. Made in the same style as Champagne, this is a rich Cava, noted for its elegant finesse, crisp acidity and ripe fruit character. Aromas of white fruits, citrus, tropical fruits, and light florals. The palate is complex and full of flavor, with good acidity and notes of lime and pineapple. It is dry and long on the finish.

Price: $19.00

Wine #2: 2020 Prodigo Sauvignon Blanc, Friuli, Italy (White Wine)
With only a handful of exceptions, Italy's most stylish, highest quality white wines come from Friuli Grave. This Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant and aromatic with fresh flavors of peach blossom and citrus fruits. It is produced in the region of Friuli in Northeastern Italy near the villages of Udine and Pordenone, close to the Adriatic Sea. Aromas of citrus blossom, stone fruit, and dried hay lead the nose of this wine. The bright palate offers unripe yellow peach, nectarine, and bright acidity.
Price: $18.00
Wine #3: 2021 Chateau La Gordonne, Provence, France (Rose’)  A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Tibouren, which are typical Provencal grapes. Only the first juices called “Tete de Cuvee” are kept after pressing. Fermentation occurs at a cool temperature to capture the best aromas. A bright, light pink with intense berry and pink grapefruit aromas. Dominant notes of raspberry and redcurrant underscored by the freshness of citrus on the palate.
Price: $18.00

Wine #4: Silk & Spice, Red Blend, Portugal (Red Wine)
Silk & Spice represents the exceptional flavors made possible by Portugal's diverse terroir, indigenous Portuguese grapes, and the exotic spices and aromas discovered on the 'Silk and Spice' routes to the far east in the 1500's. This is a red blend of deep, rich layers, characterized by aromas of ripe red fruit with hints of vanilla, mocha and spices. Three of the four grapes used to make Silk Spice are indigenous Portuguese varieties. The label illustrates a reinterpretation of an original XV century map from the Age of Discovery. It details the Bay of Bengal, the Portuguese coat of arms and a historic caravel of the time, all symbolizing the bravery of the maritime explorers who journeyed into the unknown and shared with the world spices like nutmeg, cinnamon and pepper, and fabrics like silk.
Price: $24.00
