$98.00

Scores:

  1. 93p Wine Spectator Notes

An elegant rose, with flavors of dried cherry, oyster shell, candied ginger and orange peel riding the delicate mousse. Shows fine integration of the sleek acidity and smoky minerality. Drink now through 2021.

  2. 92p Vinous Notes

Vivid orange-pink. An expressive, spice-accented bouquet evokes fresh raspberry, orange pith, white flowers, and ginger, with a hint of rhubarb adding an earthy flourish. Sappy and broad in the mouth, offering intense red fruit and bitter citrus flavors underscored by chalky mineral and white pepper notes. Rich yet lively ros with excellent closing thrust and floral persistence.

In its elegant bottle inspired by the times of French King Henri IV, Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier soon made a name for itself and has become the most recognized rosé champagne in the world and is considered a benchmark for rosé champagne. The wine is made using nearly a dozen crus, most of them Grands Crus as well as special plots in the vineyards owned by Laurent-Perrier itself.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from a total of ten 100%-rated grands crus villages, this Champagne gets its glorious pink color and rounded red fruit flavors from a process known as "saigneé" in which the skins of the grapes are left in contact with the juice for three days. The nose offers beautifully subtle, but also deep, intense flavors of ripe and macerated Pinot Noir and lemon. There is also great purity and finesse on the structured palate. The finish is fresh and reveals perfect fruit.
